Writing Tips: When You’re Stuck

the-stones-284479_640Sometimes when I’m in a block, all I need is some peace and quiet to clear it. So if you’re stuck in a scene, just go out for a walk. Take in the sights. Don’t think about your story.

When you come back to it, you’ll feel refreshed and ready to take on the problem.

You’ll also get a walk out of it. I mean, you’ve probably been sitting for too long anyway. Sitting for long periods of time can lead to back problems, stiffness, and other…ahem…issues:
